
Microsoft’s Xbox720 will unveil new version of Kinect, a Blu-ray drive and an A/V port for watching and recording broadcast TV, according to details leaked by Xbox World magazine.
Microsoft has been publicly quiet about it’s next version of Kinect, but UK based magazine managed to dug up some information about it. Kinect 2.0, has higher level of accuracy, stereo imaging, better voice recognition, and the ability to track four players at once.
Blu-ray drive will be included in Xbox720, there’s been rumors around two years now that it will be included. Xbox720 could have new controller with built-in HD display.
Microsoft is also going to try it’s chances in Augmented reality field, and it’s rumored that they are going to launch augmented glasses to Xbox720 at some point in future. The new Xbox would be powered by a CPU with four hardware cores, each divided into four logical cores. There’s also going to be 8GB of RAM included.
