Apple iPad MiniPrice: 339€(Apple)

Apple’s highly waited iPad Mini is finally here. iPad Mini is great tablet for those who want to read and wants to take it to everywhere. It’s much more comfortable keep in hand than it’s bigger brother, but of course it’s small size eats up some key specs. As Apple didn’t want to include Retina display to it, it’s a little bummer, but for normal users it doesn’t matter. iPad Mini is high-end tablet and don’t let it’s small size fool you, it’s still packed with quite impressive specs, and with more than 250,000 dedicated iPad apps it’s a great device.

Key Specs: 7.9-inch display with screen resolution of 1024-by-768 (163 PPI), iOS 6, dual-core A5 CPU, 16GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM and battery life of 10 hours.

As it is Google branded device, you’ll always be on top of the update line, which means that you will receive Android OS updates first without any carrier or other disruptions. This tablet it for you if you’re looking for bigger than Nexus 7 tablet, and wants tablet display to be top notch.

Microsoft Surface Price: 579€ with touch cover(Microsoft)

Maybe one of the anticipated tablets this year must be Microsoft Surface. This tablet was launched recently and it runs Windows RT. With the tablet you have option to purchase Touch-Cover providing soft keyboard dock. Surface is one of the best build tablet on the market now and it’s cool design material feels great. There’s also kick stand located behind the tablet, so you can easily put the Surface tablet on tablet and start watching movies or photos. There’s also something bad in this tablet, or actually what’s missing, those are apps. There’s still not much apps in the Windows Store and it can’t compete anywhere near with Apple’s iOS or Android ecosystems. If you like Windows ecosystem and are familiar with Windows RT, you might want to check this tablet out.

ASUS Vivo Tab Price: 799€(ASUS)

ASUS VivoTab features sleek and slim design, with it’s keyboard dock it transforms into laptop instantly. It runs Windows 8, which makes it very neat tablet, and also very expensive one. Sure there’s power enough and the design makes it even better, but once again apps are just not there yet. Key Specs: 11.6-inch display with screen resolution of 1,366-by-768, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and 32GB of ASUS WebStorage, 8MP camera, Intel dual-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz.
