Samsung started to roll out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for Galaxy S2!

Samsung started to roll out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S2(GT-I9100). Samsung Galaxy S2 was a big hit in 2011, and it’s still very popular smartphone with huge user base. Large user base is the main reason why Samsung is rolling out this update, and it’s very good news for the Galaxy S2 users. Samsung started the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean roll out in phases, as they do with all updates. First country to get this update is Spain, but don’t worry the update will roll out to more countries soon. Check out the full change list and the official firmware version after the break.

Original Galaxy Note Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean test firmware leaked!

Samsung Galaxy Note Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean test firmware leaked. Test firmware version is gor GT-N7000 and firmware number is N7000XXLSA, it’s been leaked before already via XDA-developers, but Sammobile now says that it wasn’t complete build, and that’s the difference between these two firmwares. Site also tells that Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S2 “is almost ready”, but for Galaxy Note “still requires a lot of work”. It’s also believed that the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for Galaxy Note is coming in December/January.

Jolla demoes Sailfish OS for first time in public at Slush event in Helsinki!

Jolla unveiled and demoed it’s Sailfish OS for the first time in public. Jolla told that their new UI is all about multitasking and speed. It all starts from home screen, and home screen itself acts like multitasking menu, showing all apps which are currently open, and they act like widgets. There’s also automatic theme generator called “ambience”, which will create a look for your device by analyzing a photo. You can access your app drawer simply wiping up. Android 4.2 is called the buggiest Android version since Honeycomb!

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean was praised as being the best Android version to come around. Android 4.2 isn’t getting praised at all, it’s even called the worst Android OS version since launch of the Honeycomb. TonisTechBlog reported that Android 4.2 is missing December, but now there’s more bugs reported. Android Police has come up with a list of bugs they found in Android 4.2, and it’s not very pretty to watch. Among with other issues in Android 4.2, Bluetooth is basically broken, and there’s also random reboots, similar as in Windows Phone 8 devices.
