According to Samsung Germany Facebook page, Galaxy S Advance is going to get Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update in January. This is not 100% sure, but we can know now that Galaxy S Advance users will get their devices updated to Android 4.1.2 in the future. As also is known Facebook pages like this aren’t always 100% official, as was in case of Samsung Sweden as they informed that Galaxy S2 is going to get that same update in November, but since that post the schedule is now moved to November-December.
Galaxy S Advance is Samsung’s mid-range Android handset with 4-inch Super AMOLED display (400-by-800 resolution), dual-core processor and it currently runs Android 2.3.6.

UPDATE! Netflix now available in Finland and other Nordic countries!
UPDATE: Netflix app is now in App store and in Google Play Store! The best thing of course is that you can register to Netflix and you will get 1 month streaming for free. After your 1 month free trial service costs 7.99€/month. Read the press release Netflix just released, from down below.
Netflix said some time ago that they are expanding their streaming services to Nordic countries and now it’s become reality. Earlier this week they launched their service in Sweden and in Denmark, today it started streaming in Norway and it’s believed that it will be available in Finland tomorrow. You can though download Netflix app from App Store to your iPad or iPhone now, but it’s not available to download from Google Play Store yet, but surely it will be available soon. I think the streaming starts tomorrow with price tag of 9.90€/month. Netflix is offering free one month subscription in Sweden and i think that will be the case in Finland too. Also good to note is that Netflix and Spotify made a deal that customers who pay for using Spotify get to watch Netflix’s stream free of charge by the end of year 2012. In the mean time you can read my article about which streaming service you should choose, Netflix, Viaplay or HBO Nordic.

HBO Nordic AB to stream content to customers without cable!
HBO Nordic AB starts to stream it’s content for scandinavia, countries included are: Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. According to the reports the streaming service will cost around 10€, and it will also include content from HBO’s competitors, including Showtime and Starz. IN US HBO offers internet streaming service HBO Go, but you still need to be HBO’s cable subscriber. HBO Nordic is launching in October. Seems to me that Scandinavia is starting to attract big Tv-companies here, previously Netflix announced it’s coming to Scandinavia and now HBO.
