ASUS says it’s interested in making Windows Phone, Windows based Padfone?!
An Asus executive revealed to WSJ that the copmany is “in talks” with Microsoft to license Windows Phone 8. Talk is always just talk, but we all know that WP8 is in need of new partners and it’s interesting what Asus might do with the OS, we might even see Asus PadFone running Windows Phone 8. VP Benson Lin also commented the situation by saying the following:
“With our Padfone concept, the phone plus tablet, I think it makes sense for Windows 8,” Mr. Lin said. “There is no target timeline…but we are interested in making Windows phones.”
It’s still unclear how it could work. The Android-based Asus PadFone employees the exact same Android version whether it’s in tablet or in phone mode, but there’s no version of Windows currently that allows that sort of flexibility. There’s no launch date or anything else information out yet, but it’s pretty great news that we might see Asus Padfone running Windows Phone OS.

Apple already testing iPhone 6 and iOS 7, according to report!
It’s not a surprise that Apple is already developing new iPhone, and new a new version of iOS, but earlier this week The Next Web claims to have seen the evidence of Apple’s next handset and mobile system. It seems that one iOS developer discovered that the app name “iPhone 6.1″ running iOS 7 was making requests from an IP address within Apple’s campus. iPhone 6 is believed to be launched in the middle of this year. The Next Web also tells that “although OS and device data can be faked, the unique IP footprint leading back to Apple’s Cupertino campus leads us to believe that this is not one of those attempts.” This report confirms that Apple continues to regularly push new iPhone models and new iOS versions, and it confirms just that, nothing more.

Android Jelly Bean more than doubles it’s share of the Android ecosystem!
This month wasn’t a big change in the Android platform version distribution chart, but there was a slight movement, as Android Jelly Bean more that doubles it’s share of the Android ecosystem. Android 2.3 Gingerbread was also in the move, but to the other direction, share dropping from 54.2% to 50.8%, but as everyone can see Gingerbread is still in the majority of Android devices.
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich grew it’s share from 25.8% to 27.5%, but the big winner was Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, as it more that doubled it share, from 2.7% to 5.9%, and adding in Android 4.2 part of the Jelly Bean will add in extra 0.8%.
Pretty huge growth from Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and i bet that it will grow more it’s share in the future, as there still is many devices running older Android version.

ZTE Grand X Pro photo leaked, details remain secret!
EVLeaks leaked a photo of ZTE Grand X Pro smartphone in Twitter. There’s no specs, and well nothing else than this photo you can see above. Render looks nice, but there’s no proof that it will the one to be launched, but if it will then we are going to see edge-to-edge display on it. As it’s predecessor Grand X, it’s running almost stock Android, but unlike Grand X it hasn’t got any capacitive buttons.
EVLeaks has proven to be very reliable source, and i think this device will make it to the stores in some point of the future.
