BlackBerry, company previously known as Research in Motion, launched their newest smartphones yesterday called Z10 and Q10. It now seems that Z10′s camera sucks big time. Gizmodo.com tested the Z10′s camera and compared it with Nokia Lumia 920, Samsung Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5′s cameras. You can see the result from above and from another photo after the break. Photo of white Nexus 4 surfaced earlier today, photo was sent to PhoneArena by anonymous tipster, and the photo clearly shows white exterior and silver camera bezel. There’s no guarantee that it’s legit image of the device, but it sure looks pretty awesome. There’s also rumors that LG started to manufacture white Nexus 4 weeks after the black version was launched. Thi king the fact that previous Nexus versions are also available in white, though with some limitations. It seems that LG is really manufacturing white Nexus 4, and i can’t wait to get my hand on to one.
Photo of the Huawei’s Ascend P2 was leaked by one of the Twitter’s biggest tech leaker @evleaks. The smartphone was previously already teased, but this is first photo that shows us better some design features that we haven’t seen before, like 13MP camera on the back. It’s also now known that Ascend P2 is only 6.45mm thin, and it’s amazing to see how Huawei managed to add the 13MP camera into so thin chassis. There’s also a photo of the company’s consumer BG CEO Richard Yu holding Ascend P2 during the meeting back in November(check it out after the break). Huawei is going to unveil Ascend P2 at MVC this February, and we are more than excited to see it.
Bigger is better?! It seems to be the trend in tech nowdays, as many mobile device manufacturers are developing bigger and better smartphones/phablets. Recently it was rumored that Samsung is going to launch 6.3-inch Galaxy Note smartphone, which seems to be huge. Huawei also announced Ascend Mate, 6.1-inch smartphone. Now it’s believed that Sony is developing 6.44-inch 1080p smartphone/tablet device. Photo, that you can see above, looks like a traditional production line leak, completed with sterile white cloves. It’s believed that the screen ratio is 16:9, and the lack of physical buttons indicates that it will be android device. If this upcoming Sony device is already started to roll off production lines, chances are that we are going to see the device in MWC this February.
If you’re big fan of great smartphones and especially fan of Lg’s Optimus G with it’s quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip and LTE radio, you might want to know that there’s going to be another player in Optimus G lineup. Today Engadget published photo which gives us little bit details of LG’s next high-end smartphone Optimus G Pro.
The Optimus G Pro has 5-inch 1,920-by-1080 display, that’s big upgrade from Optimus G that has only 4.7-inch 1,280-by-768 display. Also in chip side Optimus G Pro is ramped up by adding 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro chip. Optimus G Pro also has 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 4G LTE, 13MP camera on the back and 3,000mAh battery. It’s also believed that Optimus G Pro has One-Seg and NOTTV functionality which hints that the device is Japan only.
HTC posted a photo to company’s Facebook page, and it now seems that it’s a photo of rumored M7 flagship Android smartphone. You can’t see much from the image, but it’s believed that M7 has 4.7-inch display with 468PPI. It’s also believed that M7 has 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon CPU, 2GB of RAM 32GB of internal storage, and LTE and HSPA+ radios. The M7 also has 13MP camera on the back. There’s no official launch date set yet, but it’s believed that HTC will unveil the M7 flagship Android smartphone in Mobile World Congress on February.
Google TV is going to be huge in CES2013, which starts next week, as the company wants to make it’s platform more mainstream. Google announced on Friday a number of of upcoming partnerships and upgrades, including products from Hisense, TCL, ASUS and more. Existing partners, LG, Sony and Vizio, among others, will show their latest Google TV platform.
More interestingly ASUS is going to introduce a device known as Qube, which is going to be similar to “Roku dongle.” It’s not surprise that ASUS is partnering with Google in order of doing “Qube”, remember Nexus 7? It’s been highly popular and maybe ASUS’ Qube will be as popular too. Check out more teaser photo from ASUS after the break.
