According to the Yomiuri, other mobile phone carriers are also getting behind developing Tizen because they “fear” Apple’s and Google’s hegemony. Tizen operating system was first introduced back in September 2011, and came about when Nokia’s MeeGo OS was dumbed. New details of Microsoft’s Windows 8 successor emerge!

windows-blue

As reported earlier this year, Microsoft is going to switch to an annual release of it’s operating system starting with “Windows Blue” in mid-2013. Now user called “maxy”, who has been unofficially identified as a Microsoft official, uploaded a post to PCBeta forum claiming that “Windows Blue” or “Windows 9 dev”, will get customization options in the form of Windows Phone 8′s resizable app tiles.

Microsoft is also going to keep desktop view around, but remove the gloss on elements including the taskbar. Microsoft’s will also use new kernel (v.6.3), which will give more polished look to next Windows. There’s no word that these claimed new features are legimite, but sure they sound plausible. Check out the article after the break.
