Nokia Lumia 920 wins 12 media awards in 2012!
Year 2012 was important year for Windows Phone 8 devices, and especially for Nokia. HTC 8X, Samsung Ativ S and Nokia Lumia 920, Windows Phone 8 flagship models, with almost similar specs, but very different looks. We are not going to concentrate in all of those, but to check how did Nokia Lumia 920 was appreciated in media in 2012.
Nokia announced that company’s Lumia 920 Windows Phone has won 12 media awards from appreciated tech sites. It’s already known that Lumia 920 is very popular smartphone, almost sold out around the world. It also could mean that Nokia can’t answer to high demand of Lumia 920, or simply Nokia can’t produce enough. Nokia to abandon mobile business and sell it’s assets to Huawei or Microsoft in 2013?!
It first seemed that Nokia’s Lumia 920 was the company saver, but now Forbes predicts that Nokia is abandoning it’s mobile business and selling it’s assets to either Huawei or Microsoft. The prediction was written by Forbes contributor Tristan Louis, founder of Keepskor. He also states that 2013 will see great deal of movement in the mobile industry, and Nokia’s departure from the mobile handset market will be among the year’s most notable events.
Nokia abandons the mobile business: The biggest shocker (and what I suspect will be my most controversial prediction), though, will be the the departure of Nokia from the phone business as the company sells its mobile operation and infrastructure divisions to Huawei in order to focus on software and services. With the company’s bet on Windows 8 having failed in the marketplace, it will see Microsoft and Huawei competing for the mobile device division and will eventually sell its smartphone group to Microsoft and the rest of its telecom interests to Huawei.

It’s also packed with 16GB of internal storage against 8GB in Lumia 820, all the other specs are identical, from dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor to the 1GB of RAM and 8MP camera on the back.
The most notable spec on Lumia 825 has to be the PureMotion display, which should have amazing outside visibility, shorter pixel response time and might just make the cut to be used with gloves.
