Samsung exec confirms 8-inch Galaxy Note coming to MWC!
The device been rumored while now, and some was already waiting it to appear in CES, but as we know now, we didn’t see it there. Now, iNews24, is reporting that no other than JK Shin himself has confirmed that Galaxy Note 8 will debut on MWC. Site is the same that reported first about Galaxy S3 Mini before anything was official, so there’s no reason to doubt this scoop. Galaxy Note 8 would be packing a 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor, and a 8-inch 1,280-by-800 display. JK Shin didn’t tell any other specs yet, and we just need to wait for the MWC to know more.
Upcoming Galaxy Note GT-N5100 device specs confirmed!
Samsung’s is going to add yet another size version to it’s Galaxy Note lineup. Samsung GT-N5100, will come in 2 versions GT-N5100 3G / WiFi version, and GT-N5100 WiFi version only. It’s also now confirmed that the official name is going to Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Galaxy Note 8 has 8-inch 1280×800 TFT (Super Clear LCD) display, 5MP camera on the back, 1.3 MP front camera, 2 GB RAM, 16Gb or 32GB of internal storage + Micro SD slot, and it comes with hefty 4,600mAh battery. The 8-inch Galaxy Note will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It also has S-Pen with all the latest functions. Samsung will unveil the 8-inch Galaxy Note in Mobile World Congress on February. Samsung ships it’s millionth Galaxy Note 2 device in Korea!
Samsung has shipped the millionth Galaxy Note device to Korea, according to report from MK. This number is achieved just three months after the launch of the device in Korea. Samsung also announced previously that Galaxy Note 2 device has shipped more than 5 million units, and it’s believed that company will announce refreshed sales numbers next month. In the other side, Apple has just released iPhone 5 in Korea, but they haven’t announce any sales numbers yet.
It’s interesting to see how Apple and Samsung are going to compete next year, as Samsung is going to unveil Galaxy S(IV) in CES in January 2013.
Samsung might be prepping Galaxy Note 7, according to NenaMark!
Earlier this week it was revealed that Huawei is developing 6.1-inch smartphone to compete with Galaxy Note 2. Now, recent NenaMark results reveal that Samsung might be developing 7-inch Galaxy Note. This actually makes sense as the company already has 5-inch and 10-inch Galaxy Note models. Of course Samsung has already 7-inch tablet too (Galaxy Tab2 7), but they don’t have tablet that size with S Pen support and Wacom display for sketching and taking notes.
Huawei rumored to launch 6.1-inch smartphone to compete with Galaxy Note 2!?
Huawei has confirmed in Weibo that they are working on 6.1-inch smartphone to compete agains Samsung Galaxy Note 2. New 6.1-inch smartphone is called Ascend Mate and it has 6.1-inch Full HD display, 1.8GHz quad-core CPU and 2GB of RAM. Senior Vice President Yu Chengdong confirmed that the company is working on such a device. The Huawei executive added that it will be more powerful than the Galaxy Note 2 and include “cooler” design, slimmer bezel, better grip, more stunning display and longer battery life.
