HTC posted a photo to company’s Facebook page, and it now seems that it’s a photo of rumored M7 flagship Android smartphone. You can’t see much from the image, but it’s believed that M7 has 4.7-inch display with 468PPI. It’s also believed that M7 has 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon CPU, 2GB of RAM 32GB of internal storage, and LTE and HSPA+ radios. The M7 also has 13MP camera on the back. There’s no official launch date set yet, but it’s believed that HTC will unveil the M7 flagship Android smartphone in Mobile World Congress on February.
Facebook just announced “Graph Search,” a feature to search all of Facebook’s content for queries tailored for your profile. “Graph Search” feature is meant to answer very specific questions like “Who are my friends in Finland?”. Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg also told that this new feature is “totally privacy aware.” Facebook even dedicated 10 percent of it’s computer power to ensuring users privacy.

Facebook has sent out invites to the media to “come and see what we’re building” event. The event is held at California headquarters next week. Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Oppo, has confirmed that it’s latest smartphone Find 5 will be launched also outside of Asia. According to company’s Facebook page, not only will Oppo offer 16Gb version, but also 32Gb version. Oppo Find 5 is packed with very impressive 5-inch 1080p display and with quad-core chip. The additional countries which will get Find 5 are: Canada, UK, Spain, Australia, Germany, France, Belgium, Malaysia, Sweden, Singapore, Finland, Greece, Denmark, New Zealand, Norway, Japan and Hong Kong. It’s also now confirmed that the company will launch Find 5 in Q1 next year. So it seems now that that there’s going to be huge next year for smartphone fanatics, as multiple new manufacturer will launch their smartphones in many new markets.
Facebook (FB) founder and the company’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, have just donated $500 million in Facebook stocks to charity, that’s the right way to say happy holidays to me. Stocks were donated to Silicon Valley Community Foundation, with hopes that the funds will be applied to education and health programs. In the status update, Zuckerberg wrote that the donation was ” in order to lay the foundation for new projects” and that he is “hopeful we’ll be able to have as positive an impact in our next set of projects.”
This is not the first time that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has donated big amounts of money to charity, just before the company went to public he donated $100 million in company stock to Newark, N.J., public school districts. Check out the full Facebook post from Mark Zuckerberg after the break.
Google has just announced Capture app for iOS, that let’s you record your videos straight to YouTube. The Capture app is currently available only for iPhone and iPod Touch, and Android version is set to launch “in the future”. Capture app will be available in App Store some time today.
With Capture app you can shoot video directly from within the new tool, you can also send the links to Google+, Facebook or Twitter, and to upload it directly to YouTube. You can also select from private, unlisted or public sharing options. Check out the Capture app video after the break.
