  Thanks Well i flashed it and it works fine in my GS3(i was too inpatient). I think if you don’t want to wait you can flash it, but need to remember that it will void your warranty, and tonistechblog is not responsible in any way if you damage your phone.

Today I flashed custom ROM Android 4.1.2 (UK) Version, now its running smoothly and after that connected my device to Kies it showing (YOUR DEVICE’S CURRENT FIRMWARE VERSION NOT SUPPORTED TO UPDATE FIRMWARE VIA KIES)
plz guide me how to update when my country(India=INU) receives this firmware officially…..!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Disconnect S3 from computer.
  2. Open Kies(updated) and goto -> Tools -> Firmware Upgrade and Initialization.
  3. Enter your model no i.e. GT-I9300 and click OK.
  4. Then Enter your s3′s serial number (Settings -> About device -> Serial number) and click OK.
  5. Now Kies will download the whole firmware approx 800 MB and will properly guide further for flashing original updates.

My partner and I both purchased our s3 from ebay from a seller in hong kong, we are both in Australia on Telstra, he has received 4.1.2 yet i havent tried connecting to kies is also running thr updated software on my pc and checking for software updates on my phone. I tried the Phone’s Software Update but it said no updates were available. I believe the region XX is for Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom (Western Europe) and I saw your posts on both Jelly Bean 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 that updates were available on said regions but I can’t seem to update.
