Original ASUS PadFone introduced us smartphone inside tablet concept, and it was a success. Now, ASUS PadFone 2, which was launched this fall, started to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update via OTA. It was quite a disappointment that ASUS would launch their popular smartphone/tablet combo with only Android Ice Cream Sandwich pre installed, but it’s great news that Jelly Bean update has started to roll out.

There’s now all new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean features included in PadFone 2 including, Google Now, Project Butter and new notifications center. Report from FoneArena tells that the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update starts to roll out firs tin Asia, and gradually in the other areas.
