(UPDATE) New job listing from Nokia suggests future Android handset?!

UPDATE: No, Nokia isn’t making any Android handset. This job listing(since removed) had something to do with Nokia mapping service HERE, and maybe we can see it in Android device in some time in the future. So hide the hopes for the Nokia Android handset.

Nokia and Microsoft have been partners for sometime now, and honestly they are manufacturing quite nice devices together. Now new job listing from Nokia they posted in LinkedIn that they are looking to hire senior software engineer with Linux experience. Nokia says that new engineer would work in a “startup environment” developing “exciting new products” for future, The advert don’t specifically mention Android platform, but as we all know Linux is core of Android.

This also could also be as boring as Nokia Maps for Google devices.

Can we see Android powered Nokia handsets in the future? Might be, but nothing is sure yet. Do we want to see Android powered Nokia handset? Oh yeah, sure we do, and think guys what kind of possibilities Nokia would then have, with more than 700,000 apps in their app store.
