Lenovo A586 features voice unlock, makes face recognition so last year!

Looks like the future of unlocking your smartphone or tablet with code or swipe gestures might be soon history. Lenovo A586 will introduce voice unlock feature when it launches in China on December 12th. The Android smartphone builds new speaker verification system from Baidu and A*STAR’s Institute of Infocomm Research that looks specific voice signature, user just have to speak distinct passphrase and the phone unlocks without any gestures.

Lenovo A586 is packed with 4.5-inch display with 854-by-480 resolution, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5MP camera and 4GB of internal storage. Follow the source link to read the full press release.
