Finnish startup Supercell makes $1 million per day, beating even EA at the app game!
Wondering how much successful startup companies makes money in Finland? Wonder no more. Clash of Clans and Hay Day developer, Finnish studio Supercell is generating approximately $1 million in gross revenues a day, putting it a head of EA, Rovio, Gree and Zynga in the list of top iOS publishers by monthly revenues in November, according to report from The Next Web.
Supercell currently employees 70 members, and it’s revenues comes from two games only, if you compare that to EA, who has 969 iOS apps on the markets, it’s pretty impressive, right? The Next Web also reports that Apple takes it’s 30% cut of transactions, Supercell nets 700,000$ a day from game sales and in microtransactions within Hay Day and Clash of Clans.
It’s pretty impressive that there’s multiple big companies coming from Finland who are very successful in the area of making apps for multiple platforms. If you don’t know Rovio, Supercell and Fingersoft comes from Finland and are highly successful.
