Facebook adds Find Friends Nearby Feature!
Facebook added quietly new feature to iOS and Android devices. Find friends nearby hasn’t been officially released but it’s live and working. Feature locates you and nearby Facebook users with geolocation and then displays them to you as a list.
Creator of the feature Ryan Patterson commented this to TechCrunch and said that it’s ideal for situations where you’re “out with a group of people whom you’ve recently met and want to stay in contact with.” Then Patterson adds “this tool provides a really easy way to exchange contact information with multiple people with minimal friction.”
Feature is dependent that other users are also on find friends nearby page, and once you are not there anymore your name doesn’t pop-up on the list anymore.
