YouTube bringing paid subscription feature this spring?!
YouTube is rumored to introduce paid subscription options for individual channels, according to report from AdAge. YouTube is trying to compete more with traditional television, and the company is reportedly offering to small group of producers ability to create channels that users can only view if they pay monthly fee. The fee is said to be around $1-$5 per month. Source who spoke with AdAge also told that Google is introducing this feature in second quarter of this year. My question for you today is that would you pay in order to watch YouTube?
Psy’s Gangnam Style becomes first video to pass 1 billion views in YouTube!
Gangnam Style has yet again hit another milestone, this time, the video has hit 1 billion views in YouTube. Newest achivement doesn’t come too long after the video was chosen to Guinnes World Record for the most YouTube likes, 2.2 million at that time, the number is now at six million.
This is very impressive figures, that every seventh people in the wprld has seen the video, or not if many people has watched it many times. You can watch it ome more time after the break.
YouTube launches Capture app for iOS, let’s you shoot video straight to web!
Google has just announced Capture app for iOS, that let’s you record your videos straight to YouTube. The Capture app is currently available only for iPhone and iPod Touch, and Android version is set to launch “in the future”. Capture app will be available in App Store some time today.
With Capture app you can shoot video directly from within the new tool, you can also send the links to Google+, Facebook or Twitter, and to upload it directly to YouTube. You can also select from private, unlisted or public sharing options. Check out the Capture app video after the break.
YouTube app for iOS updated, now optimized for iPad and iPhone 5!
Google has updated YouTube app for iOS, just hours after it released Gmail app update for iOS. Updated YouTube app is now fully optimized for iPad and iPhone 5, and now you can use AirPlay feature in YouTube app to stream your videos directly to your TV. And new feature didn’t stop there, as now own you can also tap a logo to open one’s Guide of channels, ability to add and remove playlist videos, clickable links in video description and better accessibility with VoiceOver. You can download the app from iTunes or grab update from App Store.
Psy’s Gangnam Style becomes most popular YouTube video ever with over 805 million views!
“Oppan Gangnam Style”, these Korean words might be the most popular words in Korean history. It was only matter of time when Psy’s “Gangnam Style” hits number one position in YouTube’s most popular video list, taking the number one position from Justin Bieber’s Baby. Psy’s “Gangnam Style” has been now watched in YouTube more than 805 million times, and new views comes all the time.
“Gangnam Style” music video made it’s debut in YouTube on July 15, and currently has 5.3 million likes and 320,000 dislikes. Justin Bieber’s “Baby” made it’s debut in YouTube in February 2010, and it has 1.4 million likes and staggering 3.2 million dislikes. Psy and Justin Bieber are both in same music label, and Island Records executives must be extremely happy.
YouTube’s top 30 is mostly full of music videos, except one, “Charlie bit my finger again”, is the only non-music video on that chart.

Major DDoS attack against YouTube and Github!
Github.com and YouTube.com has been targeted by DDoS attack. YouTube went down for a while, just before Google’s earnings call, but devs got it back pretty soon. Seems that YouTube won’t go down too easily. Github.com though went down also and seems that it’s still down, but Github told that they are trying to restore the service as soon as they can. AnoumousOwn3r claimed that he’s the one who’s been attacking those services. Check out what he tweeted, from down below.

First Angry Birds Star Wars Trailer released!
First Angry Birds Star Wars Trailer released. Trailer uses actual footage from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, and it looks amazing, This is the first trailer of the game itself and there’s 8 in total, including a three minute animated short.

First Windows 8 ads leaked in YouTube![VIDEO]
A set of Windows 8 ad videos has been leaked in video sharing site YouTube. These videos are similar as Windows 8 Release Preview video, which was aired in WindowsVideos YouTube channel. These videos shows different areas of the upcoming Windows 8 OS, such as “Work Hard, Play Hard” shows Windows 8 on a tablet and how easy it’s to sync data via SkyDrive cloud service, “all about the apps” video shows Windows 8 apps alongside with Windows Store, “Meet the Windows”, shows different features of Windows 8. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 offers live streaming straight to YouTube!
Activision announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 live streaming links with YouTube. Black Ops 2 lets players live stream gameplay on YouTube directly from PS3 and Xbox 360. No mentions for other platforms like PC or Wii U versions. You can also stream your webcam and audio commentary while playing.
Check out the official ad for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 from below. It’s called “Surprise” and it features YouTube stars as well as mr.Robert Downey jr., ad is made by no other than Guy Ritchie.
