Samsung’s next generation Galaxy S device going to have 1080p display!

GalaxySIV

There’s not been too much rumors about Samsung’s next generation Galaxy S device, but there’s been a lot of speculation from the fans. Now there’s a user agent profile for a SCH-i337, a Samsung manufactured handset boasting 1080p Full HD display. The profile won’t give us much details except it’s name i337 and importantly the screen size that is 1,920-by-1080. Samsung showed their curved AMOLED displays at CES, but most likely we can expect to see those at later date. It’s not sure yet that this is next generation Galaxy S device, but we sure hope that Samsung adds 1080p display to it. Check out more info at the source link after the break.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8″ spotted out and wild!

tab4_b_7733

Samsung’s next device to it’s Galaxy Note line up, Galaxy Note 8, has been seen out and wild. The image you see above is the new Galaxy Note 8, but it also sports some special design features similar to Galaxy S3 and Note 2, such as curved chassis. You can also clearly see S Pen in the bottom right corner of the photo. Samsung also has decided to still use traditional menu, back and home setup, instead of going to onscreen buttons. It’s believed that main reason for Samsung to still keep traditional buttons is that it’s less important to keep them in Android 4.2 than in Honeycomb.

Rumors are also saying that Samsung is going to unveil Galaxy Note 8 at Mobile World Congress coming February. Reported specs include 8-inch 1,280-by-800 display, a 1.6GHz Exynos 4 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and TouchWiz’d Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Samsung confirms no Windows RT tablets for US markets!

samsung-ativ-tab-pr

Samsung has just confirmed to Cnet that it’s Ativ Tab won’t be sold or distributed in US. The decision is based on company’s feedback from the retailer partners, which suggests that such product would be only modestly successful in the market place. Samsung also there’s not enough education about Windows RT, and suggests that it would require too much of an investment to properly inform consumers of the difference between it and Windows 8. It’s still unclear how this will affect the availability of it’s Windows RT tablets on the other markets.
