Upcoming Dead Trigger 2 demoed on Nvidia Project Shield!
Everyone is drooling over the Nvidia Project Shield gaming console, and now, there’s a video showing upcoming Dead Trigger 2 gameplay through Nvidia Project Shield. The game runs super smoothly, the controls seems to be very responsive, and the FPS action seems to be spot-on. There’s not much info about the Dead Trigger 2, except that it’s coming sometime in June and it will be free to play. Dead Trigger 2 sets the bar for graphics very high in Android games, and as there’s Tegra 4 CPU in Project Shield there will be no problems running the game smoothly. NVIDIA announces Tegra 4 processor with 4G LTE!
Nvidia announced today Tegra 4 processor at CES 2013 in Las Vegas. Nvidia’s next generation Tegra 4 processor features 72 GPU cores, 4 A15 CPU cores, and a 4G LTE processor. This basically means that it takes 27 seconds to load 25 unique web pages with Tegra 4 processor, previously Nexus 10 it took 50 seconds. Nvidia even claims that the Tegra 4 processor is faster than iPad 4, Droid DNA and Kindle Fire HD. In photography Tegra 4 processor handles HDR photos better than iPhone 5, which usually takes 2 seconds to process, Tegra 4 it takes only 0.2 seconds! NVIDIA announces Project Shield gaming console!
More big announcements from CES 2013, as NVIDIA announces Project Shield gaming console. It’s a 7-inch clamshell device, running atop pure vanilla Android that brings Tegra goodness to you. Project Shield has 720p multi touch display, and battery life is promised to be around 10 hours of gaming or 24 hours of HD videos. There’s also standard ports, like HDMI and USB, with HDMI you’ll be able to connect the device to your TV and use it as a controller(Amazing).

(UPDATE)Nvidia distributing 5,000 Crysis 3 Alpha trial keys, get yours now!
UPDATE: Seems that there’s many gamers interested of Crysis 3, all Crysis 3 alpha keys are now given away and there’s little piece of information at the bottom of the site, which says: “Sorry, you’re too late – all alpha trial keys are now gone! Thank you for your interest.”
Nvidia has started distributing Crysis 3 alpha trial keys, be fast there’s going to be only 5,000 of them. You can get your by subscribing to their newsletter, and you can do so by following this link here.
NVIDIA will be distributing 5,000 keys to the first 5,000 people who sign up starting at 8am UK time / 9am CET on October 31st, 2012. Play will begin on November 2nd and will proceed until November 10th.
Crysis 3 is set in year 2047(24 years after Crysis 2), you’ll be playing a guy name Prophet who returns to his home town of New York and finds out that the city has been encased in a giant Nanodome created by corrupt Cell Corporation.
Crysis 3 will be available for PS3, Xbox-360 and PC and it will be launched on February 13th 2013.

LG Optimus Vu Goes Global!
LG’s competitior to Galaxy Note 3, Optimus Vu is released globally. The company released press release which states that they are going to launch Optimus Vu in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America this September. Theres one difference in this version compared to Korean one, Global version is using Nvidia’s Tegra 3 processor. Optimus Vu has 5-inch 4:3 ratio IPS-display, 3G connectivity, 32Gb of internal memory, 8 megapixel rear end camera, 1.3 mp front facing camera and Android 4.0 Ica Cream Sandwich. Nvidia lands orders for at least 3 million Tegra 3 chips for Nexus 7!
Nvidia received an order of 3 million Tegra 3 chips for Nexus 7 tablet Pc. Company believes that 3-4 million tablets to be sold through the end of 2012, according to supply chain makers. Each Tegra 3 chip costs $25, Nvidia will earn $75 million just through it’s Nexus 7 orders in second half of 2012, and profits of $10 million. Google’s low price strategy of $199-249 for it’s Nexus 7 tablet PC has attracted consumers, allowing Nvidia to recover in the ARM-based processor market.

NVIDIA Forums Hacked Leaving 390,000 Accounts at Risk!
Latest victim of hackers is NVIDIA. NVIDIA told that they were affected and anonymous hacker gained access to sensitive information, which includes email addresses, passwords and usernames. The forum is now suspended for unknown period of time. NVIDIA hashed all passwords which makes it very secure way to store them, but NVIDIA advices everybody
New Macbook Pros get Nvidia graphics!?
Apples new Macbook Pro line is said to be launched in June when they have their WWDC. It’s been believed that new Macbook Pros are more slimmer, use Ivy Bridge processor and have Nvidia GPU instead or ARM GPU. New Macbook Pros also have retina display. None of these rumors not to be confirmed yet and it seems to be that these rumors start to pop-up more often when that WWDC is nearing, we wonder why. New Macbook Pros are slimmer because theres no optical drive and that makes it more lighter also. 9to5mac also reported that new MAcbook pro lines would include USB 3.0.

NVIDIA launches GeForce GTX 690 graphics card!!
Nvidia has just launched its newest graphics card model named GeForce GTX 690. It has two 28nm Kepler Gpu’s. It crushes the previous tastes graphics card GTX 680, and becomes the fastest graphics card in the world. GTX 690 is loaded with 3072 Cuda cores. Outer frame is made of trivalent chromium-plated aluminum. GTX has center mounted fan and it got thixomolded magnesium alloy around it which makes it more resistant to vibration.
Price for this Nvidia GeForce GTX 690 is $1000 and you can get it on May 3rd.
