BREAKING:Nokia begins to roll out Windows Phone 7.8 update!!
Nokia has finally started to roll out Windows Phone 7.8 update. Windows Phone 7.8 update offers more customizable home and lock screens, Marketplace improvements and numerous under-the-hood upgrades. Nokia has confirmed that the update started to roll out today and will continue to roll through February. Company hasn’t announce though that what Nokia smartphone will get it first. BlackBerry Z10 finally revealed, 4.2-inch display, 1.5GHz CPU and LTE!
After months of rumors, speculations and teasers, RIM has finally unveiled BlackBerry Z10 smartphone. BlackBerry Z10 looks exactly like those leaked photos you’ve seen over the past months. Z10 handset has 4.2-inch 1,280-by-768 display and 356PPI. The device measures in at 130mm x 66mm x 9.3mm, as you can see it’s not the thinnest device, but it’s not the heaviest neither. The device is made of aluminum and hard, textured plastic, and inside is 1.5GHz dual-core SnapDragon S4 and 2GB of RAM, a removable 1,800mAh battery, microSD slots(up to 32GB) and microSIM. Z10 smartphone is 4G LTE capable, and that’s great news. Imaging side, Z10, has 8MP camera on the back and 2MP front facing camera.
HTC M7 parts leaked in video!
There’s been a lot of talk and rumors about alleged upcoming HTC smartphone M7, but now there’s a video that shows us M7′s parts, and it’s the best evidence of the device so far. ETrade Supply allegedly acquired what it seems to be back cover of the M7 handset, and it looks like slightly smaller HTC droid Dna. Rumors are also touting that the devicehas 4.7-inch display, and similar back cover as is in One X, One X+ and DNA. If M7 has 4.7-inch 1080p display, it would be the most compact 1080p device, and that’s great news for those who don’t want 5-inch 1080p handset. We are most likely to see more of M7 rumor and leaks in the coming days as the MWC is nearing. It’s believed that HTC will unveil M7 at Mobile World Congress next month. Pantech announces 5.9-inch Vega No.6 biggest 1080p phone so far!
Pantech has just announced 5.9-inch Vega No.6, biggest 1080p phone so far. The Android 4.1 handset has IPS LCD display, 13MP camera on the back capable of recording 1080p30fps and a 2MP camera on the front. Battery is quite big too as you might guess, at 3,150mAh, and Vega No.6 is powered by a Snapdragon S4 Pro. There’s no official release date or pricing info available yet. I think we will hear more of this smartphone at Mobile World Congress next month, but until that check out the source link for more info, it’s Korean though, but check it anyway after the break.
Huawei Ascend P2 product shot leaked!
Photo of the Huawei’s Ascend P2 was leaked by one of the Twitter’s biggest tech leaker @evleaks. The smartphone was previously already teased, but this is first photo that shows us better some design features that we haven’t seen before, like 13MP camera on the back. It’s also now known that Ascend P2 is only 6.45mm thin, and it’s amazing to see how Huawei managed to add the 13MP camera into so thin chassis. There’s also a photo of the company’s consumer BG CEO Richard Yu holding Ascend P2 during the meeting back in November(check it out after the break). Huawei is going to unveil Ascend P2 at MVC this February, and we are more than excited to see it.

Acer announces mid-range Liquid E1 phone!
Acer has added yet another phone to it’s Liquid E mid-range handset lineup, and the phone is called Liquid E1. The phone specs aren’t worst, but not the best neither, it packs 4.5-inch qHD(960×540) IPS display, a dual-core 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a microSD slot, a 5MP camera on the back and 1,760mAh battery. It ships with Android 4.1.1, and that’s great, but Android 4.2 would have been better. Liquid E1 measures in at 132 x 68.5 x 9.9mm, and it weights only 130 grams. Nokia 808 PureView confirmed to be the last Symbian phone!
It’s now confirmed by Nokia in pdf file, that Nokia 808 PureView is the last Symbian phone. Nokia managed to sell 2.2 million symbian powered phones during last quarter, that’t half the number company sold Windows Phone devices at the same quarter. Main thanks for the good sales of PureView numbers must go to Nokia 808 PureView and it’s camera sensor. So let’s take a moment to held a one minute silent moment for a great Symbian OS.

Nokia rumored to reveal new Lumia smartphone with 41MP PureView camera at MWC!
Nokia is rumored to unveil new Lumia Windows Phone with 41MP PureView camera at Mobile World Congress next month. The smartphone is codenamed as “EOS”, and it would include similar sensor to which is found on the Nokia 808 PureView. This optics would be a huge boost to the Nokia’s imagine technology, as well as provide new high-end Lumia Windows Phone to consumers.
It’s also believed that “EOS” would have aluminum body instead of polycarbonate, that is used in previous Lumia models. Nokia has previously teased at “more to come” with it’s imagine capabilities in Windows Phone. Nokia’s head of imaging technologies, Juha Alakarhu, posted following to a blog.
