Rovio Entertainment releases it’s first -ever book app, Bad Piggies best egg recipes!



Rovio Entertainment releases it’s first -ever book app, Bad Piggies: Best Egg Recipes, at Frankfurt’s book fair. Book App is available for Apple’s iPad and it brings step-by-step photo instructions of 41 egg recipes. Bad Piggies: Best Egg Recipes has full social media integration that’s perfect for sharing and enjoying with family and friends.

“We wanted to create a cookbook that brings a family together to actively do things together with the characters they all love,” said Peter Vesterbacka, Mighty Eagle and CMO. “It’s fully interactive at every stage — from seeing the illustrations come to life to sharing photos with your friends and family.”

Google updates it’s mobile homepage!



Google (GOOG) started rolling out new version of it’s mobile homepage. You can now see expandable menu on the left, which offers range of company’s mobile services. Similar to the official Google+ and YouTube apps for Android. New menu can be activated by pressing new menu button in the top right corner. When you press menu button new list of all the Google’s mobile services, including YouTube, Google+, Maps, News and many more. There’s also notifications are for Google+ notifications. Google’s new mobile homepage won’t show for everyone just yet, but Google is rolling it out to more people in coming days.

GoPro launches iOS App with live viewfinder and remote controls for action cameras!



GoPro finally launches iOS App and it’s available now. GoPro app for iOS includes remote control of all of the camera settings, monitoring battery life and storage space, live remote preview so you can see what you are shooting in real time and also access to GoPro’s Photo of the day / Video of the day channels. Alongside with the app, GoPro is launching new firmware update that will let cameras record at higher 35Mbps bitrate.

It’s just 1st version of the app and it still has some flaws in it, like you cannot access or view any of your previous recordings already stored in your camera or control more than one camera. According to GoPro, these features are coming in some point. Check out the tutorial video from below and get your GoPro app from iTunes link shown below.

Street View comes to Google Maps web app on iOS!



While the disliking of Apple (AAPL) Maps has been recently sedated, due company’s public apologize, so those users who which to Google (GOOG) Maps web app get some good news. Google is now added Street View to the company’s Maps web app for iOS, only seven days late from their estimated time. Street View works on Safari and Chrome internet browsers, you can see familiar icon on the bottom right. It might not be as good as in good old app, but it’s something for those who isn’t happy with Apple’s Map app.

Siri accidentally leaks contact information in iOS 6 even when it’s passcode locked!



Seems like theres a little problem in iOS 6, beside Apple’s (AAPL) Maps app. You can get your contact information through Siri even if your iPad is locked with passcode. According to this YouTube video, which you can find from down below, the vulnerability uses Facebook to get the contact information, this works also on any Facebook friend you have. iOS 6 now in 60% of the iPhone’s and 45% of the iPad’s!



Apple (AAPL) released iOS 6 to it’s users less than two weeks ago and now it’s in 60% of the iPhone‘s and in 45% of the iPad‘s. iOS 6 is also now in 39% of iPod touch devices. According to Chitika’s report iPod Touch devices are far more likely to encounter fragmentation due number of first and second generation devices which are unable to update past iOS 4. Unlike iPhone’s, iPod Touch devices are unlikely to be replaced after every two years. This data comes from Chitika‘s research where they collected data from millions of mobile ad impressions from September 18th to October 1st.

Everybody now knows about the mess of Apple’s (AAPL) Maps app, and Tim Cook surprisingly apologizes for user about the mess of Maps app. Cook even suggests unhappy customers that they could check out offerings from competitors like Bing, MapQuest, Google and Nokia. Rovio’s Bad Piggies game was launched today and it hit #1 spot in US App Store in just three hours. That must be some kind of record. Rovio’s Director of communications revealed today in his Twitter account.

This time you will be playing as the pigs, with all new, never-before-seen gameplay, and no slingshots around. User now need to build vehicles to guide Bad Piggies around the game, and during that kill some Birds and reach to the goal.

Foursquare for iPhone 5 and iOS 6 gets updated. They recently updated the app with “Always On” feature and now they update it yet again, this time users can create personalized maps. Compatible with iOS 6, you can map out places you haven’t been yet, top destinations, favorite spots or where your friends checked in. The app also is faster and it’s optimized for iPhone 5′s larger screen. The company’s philosophy is that, Foursquare is a discovery and recommendations engine rather than only social service, and this update goes along with it greatly.
