OUYA announces new controller with improved design!
Ouya has received a lot of feedback about their controller and now Ouya has made several notable improvements to it’s controller. Ouya gaming console developer version has been out there now for few weeks, and developers have started to give their recommendations to Ouya team as how the controller could be improved, and the team has now responded to developers. PlayStation 4 specs and controller leaked!
Anonymous source behind next generation Xbox leaks has now leaked information about Sony’s PlayStation 4, or Orbis as Sony is currently calling it. SuperDae has provided Kotaku with set of 90 PDF files that outline specs related to hardware as well as controllers and account. This all just a rumors so nothing is official. Specs that you are about to see are for the alleged developers hardware and not for any means to the hardware that is going to be shipped to consumers. Read more after the break.
SimCity beta starts January 25th, lets you play the game for one hour!
SimCity beta kicks off on January 25th and registered users can play the game for one hour. You’ll be able to play the game if you register before January 20th, and spend your one hour of gaming during the period of January 25th-28th. Users can also provide feedback on bugs and play balancing. The final version of SimCity will be released on March 5th, and it will be available for Mac for the first time. If you are SimCity fan, beta testing is great way to know little of the game and build that excitement before the actual game launches. Real Racing 3 coming in February, looks incredible!
Real Racing was first teased back in August and it looked incredible already then. New video post from the developers showcases more incredible looking visuals, and also a little background on the process of creating beautiful circuits in the game.

White PlayStation 3 bundle photos surfaces!
As far as im concerned i’ve always been fan of white colored gadgets and for me white PS3 would be cherry on top of the cake. Now photos of white PlayStation 3 bundle surfaced. Sony is going to launch white PS3 bundle in the future, at least in Canada. Both Best Buy, and Future Shop, are listing a Crystal White Limited Edition Bundle that includes 500GB hard drive, a year-long PlayStation Plus subscription and a trio of games for $300 Canadian. Both stores list a January 27th in-stock date.
ROCCAT unveils Ryos gaming keyboard ahead of CES2013!
German gaming outfit ROCCAT revealed Ryos gaming keyboard ahead of CES2013. Ryos, company’s first mechanical gaming keyboard with per-key lighting and up to two 32-bit ARM Cortex processors. This method of illumination allows the peripheral to show additional info, such as health stats, along with key functions and macros. SDK is also included, and also 2MB of internal flash storage and up to four Cherry MX key switches in a variety of colors. Ryos is expected to ship Q1 2013, but there’s not word about the pricing yet. Check out the full press release after the break.
Bluestacks for Mac hits beta, lets you run Android apps in your Mac!
If you like to play any apps on any device, there’s some good news for you. Bluestack from Mac hits beta and let’s you now run Android games and other apps in your Mac. The tool launched in beta form for Windows in March and a alpha version for Mac landed in June. Seems that apps downloaded from Amazon App Store works better than those downloaded directly from the Google Play. Anyway, you can now try Bad Piggies or even Flipboard on your Mac. OUYA developer console starts arriving to developers and gets first official unboxing!
OUYA developer console starts arriving to developers who chipped in $699, and for everyone else who are wondering that what OUYA developer looks like, there’s official unboxing video after the break. The OUYA developer console is transparent and comes with two controllers, which are also transparent, and with always needed cables(HDMI, power adapters and micro USB). Company also reminds deep-pocketed gamers that OUYA developer console is only for developers and it won’t have any games yet.
OUYA developer kits begins shipping ahead of schedule, starts arriving tomorrow!
Waiting to get your OUYA developer kit? Wait no more. Highly anticipated OUYA gaming console are shipping earlier than expected. One OUYA customer posted their shipping notification in a OUYA forums, and multiple individuals on Twitter also posting that their devices are arriving sooner than expected. OUYA first announced that first patch of OUYA developerr kits would be shipping out tomorrow, December 28th, but an OUYA spokesperson has informed that deliveries will actually start tomorrow. The software development kit will be available for download starting tomorrow, for those who don’t want to purchase a hardware kit as well. Finnish startup Supercell makes $1 million per day, beating even EA at the app game!
Wondering how much successful startup companies makes money in Finland? Wonder no more. Clash of Clans and Hay Day developer, Finnish studio Supercell is generating approximately $1 million in gross revenues a day, putting it a head of EA, Rovio, Gree and Zynga in the list of top iOS publishers by monthly revenues in November, according to report from The Next Web.
Supercell currently employees 70 members, and it’s revenues comes from two games only, if you compare that to EA, who has 969 iOS apps on the markets, it’s pretty impressive, right? The Next Web also reports that Apple takes it’s 30% cut of transactions, Supercell nets 700,000$ a day from game sales and in microtransactions within Hay Day and Clash of Clans.
