Huawei rumored to launch 6.1-inch smartphone to compete with Galaxy Note 2!?
Huawei has confirmed in Weibo that they are working on 6.1-inch smartphone to compete agains Samsung Galaxy Note 2. New 6.1-inch smartphone is called Ascend Mate and it has 6.1-inch Full HD display, 1.8GHz quad-core CPU and 2GB of RAM. Senior Vice President Yu Chengdong confirmed that the company is working on such a device. The Huawei executive added that it will be more powerful than the Galaxy Note 2 and include “cooler” design, slimmer bezel, better grip, more stunning display and longer battery life.

HTC 8X, 8S and Butterfly coming to China in mid-December!
HTC isn’t going to let Nokia conquer Chinese market by themselves and have announced that they are going to launch 8X, 8S and Butterfly smartphones to Chinese markets. HTC Butterfly is similar to it’s J Butterfly in Japanese markets and DROID Dna in US markets, it has 1080p display and it comes in black and white color options. HTC 8X and 8S are same as in Europe and in US, but with slight difference, WCDMA for China Unicom, CDMA2000 for China Telecom and TD-SCDMA for China Mobile networks. Galaxy S3 Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update started to roll out!
Samsung releases Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S3 GT-I9300. The update is now rolling out to international Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 smartphone. You might not get the update straight away as it’s rolling out in phases, similar as did Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update, but don’t worry, you will get the update in some point. Update starts to roll out first in Poland, and it’s already available in there.

Nokia Lumia 920t for China Mobile officially announced!
Nokia has announced a deal with China Mobile in order to bring Nokia Lumia 920t to the Chinese customers. The handset will be available by the end of the year for RMB 4599 (about €565), and it comes in four different color options White, Black, Yellow and Red. It’s the first Windows Phone to support TD-SCDMA standard and also the first Windows Phone 8device available in China.

Nokia announces Lumia 620, most affordable Windows Phone 8 handset!
Nokia has just announced Lumia 620 Windows Phone 8 handset. Lumia 620 has 3.8-inch TFT display with WVGA resolution, 1GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon S4 Processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage(expandable with microSD) and 5MP camera. 5MP camera is capable of recording 720p video, and on VGA camera on front is great for self-portraits. Connectivity wise there’s Wi-Fi or VCDMA 3G, and NFC and Bluetooth 3.0. Shipping of Lumia 620 starts on January next year with price tag of €249. You can read the full press release from below.

Microsoft launches Socl into beta, bringing it out of the experimental stages and closer to all of us to enjoy. Microsoft Socl was first rumored in July with codename “Tulalip”, and Microsoft Research’s Fuse Labs officially launched it internally and into some universities back in last year.

Oppo Find will arrive in US for AT&T, T-Mobile and Simple Mobile, as an unlocked version and price is set to $499.00, it’s not so bad pricing if you compare it to HTC DROID Dna, which has same display. Google has updated YouTube app for iOS, just hours after it released Gmail app update for iOS. Updated YouTube app is now fully optimized for iPad and iPhone 5, and now you can use AirPlay feature in YouTube app to stream your videos directly to your TV. And new feature didn’t stop there, as now own you can also tap a logo to open one’s Guide of channels, ability to add and remove playlist videos, clickable links in video description and better accessibility with VoiceOver. You can download the app from iTunes or grab update from App Store.
