Samsung announces Galaxy Note 2 has sold now 5 million units!

Samsung has just announced that it’s 5.5-inch Galaxy Note 2 has sold now 5 million units worldwide. Seems that demand for the 5.5-inch Note 2 is high, and there’s no signs of slowing down. Samsung’s “phablet” just came out in US, and it’s been a hit ever since. Apple has also added Galaxy Note 2 in their lawsuit against Samsung. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 might not be as big hit as it’s smaller brother Galaxy S3, but 5 million units sold is amazing achievement.

Nexus 4 shown working on Canadian LTE network!

Do you want 4G on your new Nexus 4 handset? It’s all now possible, but you need to move to Canada. Several Telus users have found out and demonstrated that it’s possible to get 4G download speeds in Canada with minor tweak. All you need to do is own a Nexus 4, live in Canada and get access to test menu by dialing “*#*#4636#*”.

When you get access to that menu, you’ll be able to select either LTE in it’s own, or mix of LTE, GSM and CDMA. According to video you see below the Nexus 4 then taps into your carrier’s LTE network if Band 4 is available. It seems to be working only in Band 4 area and not in Band 17 which is more common. But yeah if you want to get 4G LTE on to your Nexus 4, you might check the video below.
