Google teases new Google TV partners, and one of them is ASUS!

Google TV is going to be huge in CES2013, which starts next week, as the company wants to make it’s platform more mainstream. Google announced on Friday a number of of upcoming partnerships and upgrades, including products from Hisense, TCL, ASUS and more. Existing partners, LG, Sony and Vizio, among others, will show their latest Google TV platform.

More interestingly ASUS is going to introduce a device known as Qube, which is going to be similar to “Roku dongle.” It’s not surprise that ASUS is partnering with Google in order of doing “Qube”, remember Nexus 7? It’s been highly popular and maybe ASUS’ Qube will be as popular too. Check out more teaser photo from ASUS after the break.

Hulu CEO Jason Kilar and CTO Rich Tom to leave the company this quarter!

Hulu CEO, Jason Kilar, announced that he’s going to step down from his position this quarter. Additionally, CTO Rich Tom is also going to leave the company this year. Though they didn’t tell exact dates when they are going to depart from the company, or even who would be their successors, but Jason Kilar told that he’s going to stay in the company as long as there”there is ample runway to manage this transition.”

Hulu doesn’t have the best situation financially, but all started to look better for the streaming video company, as it recently told that there’s now more than 3 million paid users in it’s Hulu service. Jason Kilar also stated, that the company added 200,000 new subscribers in just past seven days. Kilar didn’t tell what he’s going to do next.
